All these panos are shot with a Nikon D300 and a 10.5 mm Fisheye, stitched into fully spherical HDR panoramas with PTGui. If you want to know more about the process, get the HDRI Handbook. You'll also find a whole year's supply of HighRes sIBL sets on the companion DVD.


To keep the summer spirit alive, this month's sIBL is from Topanga Canyon in the Santa Monica Mointains. This is a beautiful patch of nature, right between LA and Malibu. In this set there's so much greens and ferns, with a general green spill from all sides, it may well stand for a rainforest or sub-tropical environment.
