I'm giving away a new High-Res sIBL every month.
If you missed a month, you can still find the download in the sIBL Archive. Some of them are also on display in the HDR Panogallery and the Flash Panogallery.

All these panos are shot with a Nikon D200 and a 10.5 mm Fisheye, stitched into fully spherical HDR panoramas with PTGui and Hugin. If you want to know more about the process, get the HDRI Handbook. You'll also find a whole year's supply of HighRes sIBL sets on the companion DVD.

This is another new piece from my Tokyo collection.
Hamarikyo Garden is a secret gem in Tokyo, a place of scenic beauty. It used to be the villa of Shogun Tokugawa, and later a strictly imperial hangout surrounded by the Shiodome skyscrapers.

Bet you always wondered if the Picturenaut duck actually has a body... well, here it is, in its natural habitat.
I literally spent just 60 seconds on these - load the model, run sIBL, hit F9 for render. Everything left at default, yet instant photoreal and with 50 seconds rendertime.

Now you may argue that the shadows have problems, and the color isn't quite there yet. And I agree. But it's a damn great starting point, and if we can already talk about finetuning this 60 seconds after the initial idea, that's great! Believe me, it works for me all the time, when a client wants to see "just a quick render of the model you're working on"....
