ptgui question
01/19/14 at 23:38:07

I can't find how one could stitch hdr panorama in ptgui without blending. I have 6 cg renders (32bit, 90 degree fov) without overlapping. I load these images in ptgui, set parameters, choose hdr panorama as output, but i cannot figure out how to tell to ptgui to not do blending. I know i can choose to export separate layers and then combine them in photoshop, but it's not very convenient.
Any help?

Ah, I see what you're trying to do  Smiley

You don't actually want to stitch, but rather convert the panorama from cube faces to equirectangular.

You can

A) Render out a layered PSB file in PTGui, so when you bring it into Photoshop all you have to do is Flatten all.

or

B) Use Pano2VR instead. As a bonus this will also give you a nice pano viewer for preview purposes...

Thank you for your answer. I'll take a look at pano2vr.

Btw, maybe you or someone else knows very simple app for just a viewing 360 panos on android device, that works on v2.x?
