sIBLedit debian(?)/kubuntu edition
07/19/07 at 04:53:43

ok this IS doomed from the beginning

after a week of intensive linux development crash course, facing unexpected problems (and really NONE of those I've expected before)
here is the first try of an linux version of sIBLedit (not really working deb package) and binary only in one zip archive.
needs wxwidgets 2.8 freeimage3 and openexr installed. (or at least... I think it needs all 3 of them   Undecided

there some other problems (mostly interface related), but first, lets see if there is at least one person who can get it to launch....
splotchdog.com/sibllinux.zip

ok, I would be really happy for everyone giving feedback on this, although you are all warned Smiley

(The deb installs it under /usr/local/bin/  if someone got a better location don't hesitate)

Yes, please do comment on the Maya script, and where it needs improvement. Volxen is just in the process of updating, from what I hear he has it gotten working in OSX now... So any feedback, preferrably with Maya content, are highly appreciated at this point.
