All:

I have the some software that is made by Dynamic Photo HDR. And it seems like decent software, however, I was wondering if there was a better softwared for use with Lightroom 3 or CS5?? And I know there will be many different opions, but any and all suggestions woudl be appreciated. One other important tidbit of information, I have just purchased a new MacBook Pro 17" with the i7 2.66 processor in it. So it needs to be Mac compatible.

thank you all!!

Curtis
(a newbee to this forum)

Arnold is currently supported, but since I'm under NDA like the other beta testers, the templates are currently hosted privately and not on HDRLabs repository ( Until the renderer is available to the public ).

KS

Here are some links I gathered in the past:

http://ivrpa.org/blog/1833/attack_of_the_panoramic_robots_o
http://www.gigapanbot.de/panobot-en.htm
http://www.xrez.com/services/spher/xRez_spher1.html
http://www.servocity.com/html/gdp985a-bm_pan_system.html
http://www.hdrlabs.com/tutorials/panobot.html
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LInj6nPP1pA&feature=related

And ofcourse the Gigapan Pro/Epic, etc.

Building a motorized panoramic head has been a side project for me for a while. My goal is to photograph skyboxes at an insane resolution. For this I need something that rotates faster than most commercial solutions out there (so that I don't have stitching problems with fast moving clouds). The project has been on a pause for a while, but I hope to start working on it again next year.

Here is my proof of concept build:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPgCeUcDdcs

I want the final version to be faster still. The biggest problem so far is instability, but I got some really nice bearings which should solve this.
